Tree of Life Memorial Program

Lafayette Parks and Recreation is pleased to introduce the "Tree of Life" Memorial Program. This program is designed to allow the community to sponsor or make a dedication to a loved one by donating money to have trees planted in one of Lafayette's parks.

With this donation, an engraved leaf, branch, or acorn, depending on the amount of your donation, will be placed on the "Tree of Life" sculpture located in the Columbian Park Administrative Office, and a tree will be planted and maintained by Park Staff according to the needs of the Urban Forest and appropriate planting season.

This is an excellent way to recognize and memorialize donations from the public.  With the engraved piece, your memorial will be publicly displayed and the tax-deductible donation will be in Park records.
