August 17, 2015

At approximately 8:30pm, the Lafayette Police responded to a report of an armed robbery that occurred at Cambridge Estates apartments on State Road 38 East. A male subject advised that he was robbed at gunpoint while trying to sell property. The victim male was using Craigslist.com to meet with potential buyers and had agreed to meet them in Cambridge Estates. It was at this location where he was robbed reportedly at gunpoint by two males in a parking lot. After the robbery, the two suspects fled in the direction of Country Charm Apartments nearby where the victim lost sight of the suspects.

No injuries were reported and responding officers were unable to locate any suspects. The investigation is ongoing.

Suspect #1 was described as a dark skinned male, possible in his teens with baggy dark pants and white shoes. Suspect #1 was armed with a handgun.

Suspect #2 was described as a dark skinned male, also in his teens, wearing a dark shirt.
