[ARCHIVED] Stabbing at Claystone

On Tuesday September 1, 2015 at approximately 1446 hours, the Lafayette Police Department responded to Gordon Court, located at Claystone at the Crossing, regarding a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who was suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Through their investigation, officers located the suspect, identified as Jaaleya Milsap, age 19. Milsap was arrested and transported to the Tippecanoe County Jail, where she was preliminarily charged with Battery with a Deadly Weapon. The victim and suspect were known to each other.
