[ARCHIVED] Stabbing in the 1800 block of Greenbush St.

Date: October 9, 2015

At approximately 4:24 am, the Lafayette Police were called to the 1800 block of Greenbush to investigate a reported stabbing. Responding officers located a male at a residence that had been stabbed in the chest. Medics and LFD arrived and assisted in providing medical attention. The male was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. The male is in stable condition.

Officers processed the scene and a Crime Scene Investigator was called. Officers located and spoke with several persons and additional involved parties. It is believed that other subjects may have been injured in the incident, but left the area prior to police arrival. It is not believed that this is a random act and all involved parties were known to each other.

At this time no arrests have been made and the incident is under investigation.
