On Wednesday January 13, 2016 at approximately 2037 hours, officers with the Lafayette Police Department were sent to an apartment in the 3000-block of Chaffee Court, located at Claystone, regarding a reported residential entry. The caller stated that three black males had entered the apartment, and were armed with handguns. After a brief altercation inside, the suspects fled the scene. No party was injured in this incident.
The three suspects are described as being all black males. One was wearing a red jacket, the second a grey jacket, and the third a black hoodie. All are outstanding at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
