[ARCHIVED] Arrests in Attempted Robbery Incident

On December 3, 2015, the Lafayette Police Department responded to call regarding an attempted robbery that had occurred at 18th St and Logan Ave. The victim was a Lafayette Jefferson High School student and was attacked by multiple subjects, but was able to fight off the attackers. After attempting to steal the victim’s property, the suspects fled the area.

After an extensive investigation, detectives have now made two arrests related to this attempted robbery. Two 16-year-old males were arrested this week and charged with Attempted Robbery Involving Bodily Injury. Both suspects were transported to Tippecanoe County Juvenile Probation and subsequently placed in secure detention.
