[ARCHIVED] Meth labs located

On Thursday February 11, 2016 at approximately 0010 hours, officers with the Lafayette Police Department Street Crimes Unit conducted an investigation at the Devon Plaza, located at 2371 N. 26th Street. As a result of their investigation, multiple methamphetamine labs were located inside one of the rooms. Two of the labs were active, while a third was in a dormant state. Officers contacted the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Team to respond and render the labs safe. The investigation is ongoing. There were no injuries reported at the scene.

Officers arrested multiple subjects. Arrested were:
-Jason Rhode, 37- Wanted on Warrant, Possession of Syringe, Possession of Spice, Visiting a Common Nuisance, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

-Christopher Kirtley, 32- Possession of Syringe, Possession of Spice, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

-Justin Corbett, 34- Possession of Syringe, Possession of Spice, Visiting a Common Nuisance, Possession of Methamphetamine and Manufacturing Methamphetamine.
