We are excited to kickoff the summer with our Celebration Night! We will have face painting, a live art station, local art vendors, food from EMTfoodtruck, Kona Ice of Tippecanoe County, The Pink Walrus, & L kora fast food and classic rock music by RADIO. Celebration Night at Art in the Park will be held at Columbian Park on Tuesday, June 7 from 6:00-8:00 PM. It is FREE to attend!
Since 2014, the City of Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department has provided a unique art experience through our Art in the Park festival series on Memorial Island, within historic Columbian Park in Lafayette. Art in the Park festivals showcase local and regional fine arts and crafts, live art (including dance and improv comedy), music from local talent, a variety of foods from various vendors, and fund activities for the entire family. Every night Art in the Park is offered it proves to be a different experience as our local and regional talent will change each event night!
The Art in the Park festivals provide fine arts and crafts such as jewelry, metal, textiles, and much more. Art pieces are sold by local and regional vendors featured at each event. Art in the Park is a family-friendly event, free to attend, and open to the public.
