[ARCHIVED] Robbery Arrests

On Saturday, July 16th, at approximately 9:46pm, the Lafayette Police Department was dispatched to the 1800-block of S 22nd St in reference to a possible armed robbery. Officers were advised that three males had approached two victims and asked them to buy marijuana. When the victims refused, the suspects advised they had a gun, threatened to shoot the victims, and demanded money and property. The suspects then fled southbound.

Arriving officers located the three suspects close to the incident location. Two suspects were immediately detained and one suspect that initially ran was located shortly thereafter. The stolen property was recovered. No firearms were located. No injuries were sustained during the incident.

The following subjects were arrested:

Montario Allen (18-years-old and of Danville, IL)
- Conspiracy to Commit Robbery
- Criminal Gang Activity
- Resisting Law Enforcement
- Possession of Marijuana

Terry Lashawn Zeigler (18-years-old and of Chicago, IL)
- Robbery
- Criminal Gang Activity
- Possession of Marijuana

Juvenile Male (17-years-old and of Lafayette)
- Conspiracy to Commit Robbery
- Criminal Gang Activity
