Death Investigation
Members of the Lafayette Police Department Detective Division, along with crime scene investigators, are at 3231 Chaucer Drive investigating the death of two adults. Police were called for service today at 2:15 pm for a check well-being call. Officers investigated the complaint and found two deceased adults inside the home.
Police continue to investigate the matter and are working on locating next of kin. Therefore, no names or case facts will be released at this time. Detectives also report they are not looking for any suspects at this time. As soon as more information is known, a second press release will be made.
