[ARCHIVED] Casey's General Store Robbery

The Lafayette Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Casey’s General Store at 153 Teal Road West. The alleged suspect, described as a black male, tall and thin, entered the store and demanded money from the on-duty clerk, while armed with a handgun.

The alleged suspect stole money and fled the store on foot. Lafayette Police K-9 and officers attempted a track, but were unable to locate the alleged suspect. There were no injuries reported by the clerk. The case will be turned over to detectives for further investigation.
