[ARCHIVED] Drug Search Warrant and Arrests

In the morning hours of December 17th, 2016, the Drug Task Force, Lafayette Police Street Crimes Unit, and Lafayette patrol officers served a search warrant at a residence in the 1600-block of Congress St in Lafayette. Upon entry into the residence, officers confronted two individuals who were inside. Both individuals were later arrested. No force was used and no injuries were reported. Upon completion of the search, officers located cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, synthetic marijuana, drug paraphernalia, firearms, and US currency inside the residence.

This investigation stemmed from multiple citizen tips providing information into the ongoing activity at this residence. The Tippecanoe County Drug Task Force and Lafayette Police Street Crimes Unit would like to thank the citizens of Lafayette for their continued assistance.

This investigation continues and further charges and arrests are possible.

Arrested:

Christian Bryant Hubbard (43 years old and of Lafayette, IN)

 

Charges: Dealing Methamphetamine (level 2)

Possession of Methamphetamine (level 3)

Dealing Heroin (level 2)

Possession of Heroin (level 3)

Dealing Cocaine (level 3)

Possession of Cocaine (level 3)

Maintaining a Common Nuisance (level 6)

Tabitha Jean Perez (43 years old and of Lafayette, IN)

Charges: Conspiracy to commit Dealing Methamphetamine (level 2)

Possession of Methamphetamine (level 3)

Conspiracy to commit Dealing Heroin (level 2)

Possession of Heroin (level 3)

Conspiracy to commit Dealing Cocaine (level 3)

Possession of Cocaine (level 3)

Maintaining a Common Nuisance (level 6)

The fact a person has been arrested or charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
