On January 14th, 2017, around 5:10 am, Lafayette Police responded to the Circle K gas station at 3112 North Earl Avenue for a report of an armed robbery. Officers arrived and the alleged suspect had already fled the scene. There were no injuries reported. Officers spoke to witnesses, who described the assailant as a black male, thin, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.
The clerk reported she was threatened at knife point to open the cash drawer. The alleged suspect stole money and fled the store. Officers obtained video footage and attached are still photographs of the alleged suspect.
