[ARCHIVED] Child Solicitation Arrest

Child Solicitation Arrest

Today, at around 9:00 am, Lafayette Police served a search warrant at 2224 Meadow Drive.  Police arrested the resident, Kevin William Flynn (27) of Lafayette for Child Solicitation and Possession of Child Pornography.

As a standard procedure in this type of investigation, police requested schools in the area of the search warrant be locked down for safety.  In this instance, Jefferson High School, Tecumseh Middle School and Durgan School were alerted and locked down while the warrant was served.  The warrant was served without incident and the schools are back to normal operations.

Flynn was transported to the Tippecanoe County jail.  The case will be turned over to the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s office to review for charges.

The fact a person has been arrested or charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
