Lafayette Police Arrest Suspect During Pharmacy Burglary

On December 15th, 2018 at 5:20 am the Lafayette Police Department investigated a burglary at Walgreens, 1801 South St, Lafayette. When officers arrived they found that a vehicle had been driven into a door of the building. Officers quickly set up a perimeter around the business. The suspect, Casey L. Hollingsworth (31) was arrested when he attempted to leave the building while carrying a large quantity of prescription medications. 

Officers arrested Hollingsworth for the following charges:

Burglary

Resisting Law Enforcement

Possession of a Controlled Substance 


Hollingsworth was transported to the Tippecanoe County Jail. This investigation is ongoing.
