Update: Lafayette Police Have Identified a Person of Interest in Homicide Investigation

On 4/11/2019 the Lafayette Police Department contacted the Dayton, OH police department for assistance with locating Andrew Alcorns.  Through the ongoing investigation Lafayette detectives were able to determine that Alcorns was a person of interest in the homicide investigation that occurred on April 7^th, 2019. 

The Dayton, OH police department was able to locate Alcorns.  During the investigation by the Dayton, OH police department, Alcorns suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound and is being treated at a Dayton, OH hospital. 

This investigation is ongoing.
