At 8:05am on 5-23-19, Lafayette Police Officers responded to 10 Kenosha Ct to investigate a Residential Entry complaint made by a female victim, Skyler Renn, age 18. The investigation determined that Talmadge Jasper, who resides at 3106 Eagles Way Dr Apt 1316, was the suspect of the residential entry. There is a valid protection order in place prohibiting Talmadge Jasper from contacting Skyler Renn. As the investigation progressed, it was determined that an adult male also residing at 10 Kenosha Ct was missing. At about 8:30pm, a search warrant was served at Talmadge Jasper’s apartment. During that search, the body of a deceased adult male was located. Identification of the victim is pending, as are cause and manner of death.
Talmadge Russell Jasper, age 18, of Lafayette, was arrested for Murder, Residential Entry and Invasion of Privacy. There are no outstanding suspects and no on-going threat to the public.
