Lafayette Police Arrest Two Suspects Related to Recent Shooting

On March 3rd, 2020 at 7:16 pm, the Lafayette Police Department responded to St. Elizabeth Hospital for a 15 year old male that had been shot in the arm and abdomen.  Investigators determined that the victim, Luis Miranda had been shot during a Robbery.  The shooting was determined to have taken place in the 3200 block of S 9th St.  Miranda is currently in stable condition. 

On March 4th, 2020, Gerald Bell (16) was arrested at Jefferson High School, 1801 S 18th St, Lafayette, IN for armed robbery resulting in serious bodily injury. Later the same day Jeremiah Hendricks (16) was arrested in the 3200 block of Osborne Ln, for armed robbery resulting in serious bodily injury.
