Dedicated in 1997, Munger Park is a 32-acre park located in the northeast portion of Lafayette. Land for the park was donated by Cinergy-PSI and development was made possible by a $100,000 contribution from Thomas and Alice Munger.
Trail
The unique trail (see map with trail distances) is surrounded by open space to toss a Frisbee or relax in the sun after walking. The trail curves around the pond. Fishing is permitted; all state regulations apply.
Fishing
Fishing is permitted in Munger Park Pond with an appropriate license; all state regulations apply.

Go FishIN in the City
Munger Park is part of the DNR's urban fishing program called Go FishIN in the City. Check out the site for more information on the program, including future stocking times and special fishing opportunities.
Rental Facilities
There is one shelter available to rent at Munger Park. The shelter can seat 100 people comfortably, and can be rented for a fee of $100.00. The shelter is located next to the asphalt parking lot off of Greenbush Street. Please see the Munger Park Map for more location details.
Shelter Rental Payment
The shelter is available to rent for a daily basis on each day of the week. Shelter reservations are NON-Refundable. Day substitutions may be available - restrictions apply.
