December 18, 2018, 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM @ Bill and Donna DeFouw Education Center

Get to know nature through play experiences, art, songs and stories, early science explorations, and of course - special animal friends! Supervised outings to zoo exhibits that complement the lesson may also be included, weather permitting. Each month holds a new lesson - attend one or enjoy them all! Zoo Sprouts is designed to accommodate emerging independence - caregivers may participate with their child, or observe from the adult seating area. Caregivers and children comfortable with drop-off are permitted to do so, provided the child is fully potty-trained. This program is for children 3 and 4 years old with adult caregiver participation optional. The second season will be "Animal Opposites." Animals are a great way to introduce the early childhood learning concept of opposites!
