Star City Crossing will have the sidewalk closed on the East side of 5th Street between South Street and Columbia Street, sidewalk will also be closed on the North side of South Street between 5th Street and the Alley just West of City Hall for the construction of a new building. Bowen Engineering will have Wallace Ave. and 24th St. shut down from 10/29/18 to 5/24/19. The intersection of Brice St. and 24th St. will be shut down for the majority of the project. There will be approx. a 3-4 week period when Brice St. between 24th St. and Park Ave. will be shut down to all traffic. Watch for lots of heavy equipment. Rieth-Riley will have lane restrictions on the Northbound and Southbound lanes on US 52 from Veterans Memorial Pkwy. to CR 775 E. for asphalt rehabilitation. Areas with most impact to travel will be delays at Veterans Memorial Pkwy. and CR 450 E. intersections. EXPECT DELAYS. 24 hour lane restrictions should be expected. Rieth-Riley will will be having moving road closures on North Street between 3rd Street and 7th Street for road construction from 3/25/19 to 8/30/19. Starting on 3/25/19 North Street will be closed between 3rd Street and 4th Street. Traffic will need to follow detour routes in each closure area. Utilities will start relocating starting the week of 3/25 and road construction will begin 4/1. Road construction will progress Eastbound closing off blocks of North Street as the work is accomplished (moving closures). 4th Street will be closed on or around 4/15 and will reopen the first week of May. As the work progresses finished blocks West of the closure area will open up to traffic. Follow the detour route signage that will be placed during the closures. Contact: Mike Rominger 765-656-4612

Star City Crossing LLC will be having temporary lane closures 3/25/19 to 5/6/19 on the North lane of South Street between 5th Street and 6th Street for material off loading. Kettlehut Construction will be installing temporary construction drives and eventually the installation of permanent new drives for TCPL South Branch Library. Closure locations approx. 50' of walking trail North of CR 430 S to the West of roundabout at intersection with S. 18th Street. Approx. 66' of walking trail on the West side of S. 18th Street to the North of roundabout at intersection with CR 430 S. from 4/4/19 to 12/30/19. Closures will be at construction drives for new South Branch Library. Existing walking trail will be removed and stone construction drive utilized until permanent drive paving and new concrete sidewalk can be installed late summer or early fall. Rieth-Riley will begin the resurfacing project for streets in the City of Lafayette on 4/8/19 to 4/22/19. There will be Lane Restrictions, however the streets will be accessible and the traveling public should expect some delays. The streets that will be milled and re-surfaced are:
Hart Street (between N. 16th St. and N. 17th St.)
Perrine Street (between N. 17th St. and N. 18th St.)
N. 10th Street (between Union St. and North St.)
N. 11th Street (between Ferry St. and Salem St.)
Rogers Street (between S. 22nd St. and S. 26th St.)
Rochester Street (between S. 9th St. and S. 14th St.)
Beck Lane (between Old US 231 and S. 9th St.) There will be some Temporary Road Closures.
Brady Lane (between S. 18th St. and Concord Rd.)
NOTE: The order of the above streets may change. The time frame may need to be adjusted due to weather as well.
Please watch for traffic signs, barrels, cones and flaggers during this re-paving project.

QC Communications will have a lane shift on Creasy Lane at Stinger St. 4/10/19 to 4/12/19 for directional bore. Contractors will be working in the right lane of North bound traffic on Creasy Lane starting 300' South of Stinger Street and continuing 300' North of Stinger Street.
