Closure locations: South Street sidewalk and parking from 4th Street to 5th Street; 5th Street Southbound lane and sidewalk; Alabama Street Westbound lane and sidewalk. Detail summary of closures: Installing jersey barriers with chain link fence on top of barriers, closing off parking and sidewalk on the South side of South Street from the entry into Regions Bank parking lot, East to 5th Street; then the Southbound lane and sidewalk on 5th Street from South Street to Alabama Street; then the Westbound lane and sidewalk on Alabama Street from 5th Street to 4th Street. From October 12 to November 30, Midwest Electric will be working on the intersection at SR 38 and Park East Blvd. During the daytime, there will be alternating one lane closures for the East and West lanes of traffic to allow for work on the loops and signals at this location. From November 2nd to December 31st, there will be intermittent closing of the Northbound/Southbound right lanes of Creasy, and the Eastbound/Westbound right lanes of Bonlou at their intersection. This will be to allow for the installation of a new traffic signal, curb ramps, and line striping. There will be construction signage and arrow boards set up during daytime hours to direct traffic through the area. All lane restrictions will be installed at the beginning of the day and removed at the end of the day. This year, your family will get their picture with Santa and then pick up grab-and-go donuts as well as holiday craft kits to-go! Your registration includes a free download of your professional photo.

Do you have last minute holiday shopping to finish? Drop your children off at the McAllister Recreation Center for an evening of entertainment so you can finish shopping or wrapping! Dinner will be provided, and children ages 5 - 12 are welcome to participate.

This exciting program is open to children ages 6-11 years and will take place at McAllister Recreation Center from October through December. The cost at the time of registration is $50 per child. Walk-in registrations are welcome at McAllister, or register your children online.
