Board of Public Works and Safety Meeting

Public Safety Bldg. traffic control, 601 Columbia St. between 6th & 7th St. 5/8/21-1/5/23

Public Safety Building and Garage Project traffic control, 601 Columbia Street between 6th Street and 7th Street. 6th Street between Columbia Street and South Street will be closed to all traffic except police. 7th Street between Columbia Street and South Street, one-way Northbound. Traffic Disruption - Main St between 6th and 7th St.

From April 1st to October 1, there will be traffic disruptions on Main St between 6th and 7th St. While traffic may be maintained in both directions, there will be interruptions for the tower crane operating space, loading and unloading for wood framing, and semi trailers. Closure - 8th St

Lane Restrictions - 18th St

From July 25 to August 6, there will be lane restrictions on 18th st from Teal Rd to Kossuth St for milling and resurfacing. The road will not close, but street parking will not be allowed. Parking Closure - Beck Lane

From August 1 to August 23, the following streets will have restrictions to allow for the removal and replacement of wheelchair ramps: Owen St, 3rd St, Joseph St, Central St. Holloway Dr, Washington St, Sunset Dr, Jefferson St, and Vernon Ln. Special Event - LPD National Night Out

On August 2, the LPD will be hosting their annual event LPD National Night Out in collaboration with the Aviators. This event will close a section of Wallace from the intersection of Main to the Frozen Custard Drive-Thru. There will be traffic control to direct vehicles.
