This Department is responsible for all employment issues within the City of Lafayette and currently supports 19 Departments with a total employment of over 500 employees.
Human Resources is responsible for the administration of employee benefit programs such as health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision; life insurance, retirement plans, employee assistance programs, worker's compensation and unemployment benefits.
These benefits are administered for active and former employees.
Employment opportunities are made available through the job posting process.
All job postings may be found in the City Hall bulletin boards located on both the first and second floors of the building and within each of the Departments. Jobs are posted as they become available and applications are accepted in the Human Resources Office located on the second floor of City Hall.
