Now you can experience our popular Zoo Camps - from anywhere!  Virtual Camps include access to themed content designed to keep your child engaged and entertained.  Based on the week’s theme, virtual campers will explore online videos, complete activities and crafts, and meet amazing Animal Ambassadors, all from the comfort of home.

Each Virtual Camp includes 5 days worth of online content, designed to fill about 1 hour of your child’s time each day.  All content is pre-developed so there’s no need to log in at a specific time to join live broadcasts.  Virtual Camp content can be accessed at your convenience and completed at your own pace.

Content may include:

• Video discussions
• Science Demonstrations
• Animal Presentations
• Step-by-Step Craft/Activity Demonstrations
• Virtual Tours of Zoo exhibit areas and Sneak Peeks into Zoo operations
• PLUS - downloadable extension activities and resources!

Requirements:

• Internet access is required.  Access to a printer is necessary to complete all camp activities.
• Access to Virtual Camp content is via Google Drive. To access the camp content you will need to log in using a Google account.  (It is free to sign up for a Google account if you don’t already have one.)   You must provide a valid gmail email address in order to receive access privileges.  Access privileges expire after 60 days.
• Adult assistance is recommended for some activity components.  Parents should evaluate each activity and consider their child’s individual capabilities when determining the level of adult supervision necessary.
• A downloadable supply list is included with each camp.  In general, camp activities are designed to utilize inexpensive materials that are household staples or easily sourced.
