  10. Special Event - Jeff HS Marching Band Northern Regional Contest

    On October 16, from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, the Lafayette Jefferson Band Boosters will be hosting the Indiana State School Music Association Regional Marching Contest.  There will be over 3,000 attendants to this event, as well as 150 vehicles.  Band arrival is expected to begin at 9:00 AM and arrivals are expected to continue until 5:00 PM. 

    Due to the amount of vehicles expected, 22nd Street between Teal Rd and Gregory St. will be closed to accommodate parking overflow.  Residents on these streets are advised to follow the detour onto 26th St to Gregory and then back to 22nd to access their drives.  There will be signs and barricades to alert the public, and an LPD officer will be present to help residents.
