Street Crimes Investigation Results in Two Narcotics Arrests


On October 25th, the Lafayette Police Department Street Crimes Unit conducted a narcotics investigation at 1207 Rochester St.  While on scene, officers could smell the odor of synthetic marijuana coming from inside the residence. During the investigation, a search warrant was obtained for the residence.  Officers located and seized 64.22 pounds of synthetic marijuana (spice), 16.2 grams of marijuana and $455 dollars cash.


Patrick Lucas (37) was arrested for possession and dealing of synthetic marijuana, possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, and receiving stolen property.


Stacey Lucas (31) was arrested for possession of synthetic marijuana, possession of marijuana, and maintaining a common nuisance.
