Homicide Investigation

On February 7th, 2019 at approximately 8:30 pm, a relative of 52 year old Lisa Heinsen contacted the Lafayette Police to do a well-being check at her residence of 1310 Hart St.  When Officers arrived they located Lisa Heinsen inside the residence deceased.  The death is being treated as a homicide. This case is under investigation by the Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office, the Lafayette Police Department, and the Tippecanoe High Tech Crimes Unit.   

Juan Manuel Roano, 62 has been identified as a person of interest in the homicide.  Juan is believed to be driving a 2004-2005 white Nissan Pathfinder with possible passenger side damage.  Detectives continue to follow up on leads.
