From November 10 to December 10, the East side of 6th St streetwalk, from Main St to the alley, will be closed for masonry work. From November 14 to December 15, there will be restrictions on 22nd St from Ferry St to Cason, and on the North side of Cason St to install curbs, sidewalks, and wheelchair ramps. From November 18 to January 10, 2023; a section of S 7th St between Alabama and New York will be closed for the construction and installation of new Storm Sewer. This area will be closed for around six weeks and is subject to change due to weather delays. The construction area will be barricaded off and signs will be present to alert traffic and pedestrians. From November 28 to February 10, 2023, there will be a closure of the Southbound lane of N Earl Ave. between Union St. and Cason St. This closure will move as work progresses on the installation of a gas main. From November 28 to March 31, 2023, there will be rolling closures on the West lane on the Southbound side of Sagamore Pkwy South from Kossuth St. to South St. This will not be the full length of the street, but in 200-300 ft closures that will move as work progresses, but the lane will not be closed for the full distance at any time. From November 28 to February 17, 2023, there will be a shoulder closure starting on the East bound shoulder of Cason between Asher and N 18th St. The South bound shoulder on Asher between Cason and Ferry will also be closed as the work progresses into that area. This has been updated to included alternating single lane closures that will be moving along the area as well. For all Saturdays between November 19th and December 3rd of 2022, the Mini Market will take place from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with open market hours running from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM During this time, 5th St, between Main and Columbia and Main and Ferry will be closed to traffic and parking. On December 3, Greater Lafayette Commerce will be hosting the Very Merry Main Street Christmas Parade. Areas will begin closing for staging at noon and should be considered closed until 8:00 PM.
