From January 30th to May 30th, there will be road work taking place on Kossuth St, North and South sides from 4th St to 9th St. This will involve temporary lane closures, along with the temporary closures of sidewalks and some drive approaches. From March 21st to June 30th, Michels will be closing the East bound travel lane / turn lane / shoulder along Greenbush from 2175 Greenbush to Sagamore Pkwy. Traffic will be utilizing the shared center lane when possible - flaggers will there when necessary as well. From March 22 to December 31, there will be gas line work in the entire Southlea Subdivision. Bound by Beck Lane, S 9th St, Twyckenham, and S 18th St, activity will be centered in the subdivison along with supplies/equipment and care will be taken to minimize disruption to the flow of traffic. From March 30 to July 1st, Milestone will be working on Phase VII of the Lafayette Streetscape Project on Columbia and 5th St. This will involve lane shifts on Columbia starting at 6th St, and lane shifts on 5th between South and Columbia. The roads will not be closed, traffic will just be shifted. Parking will be unavailable on Columbia from 6th St to 4th St, and on 5th St between South and Columbia. From April 4th to June 30th, Midwest Paving will be doing work alongside the North and South sides of Kossuth, moving from 18th to Earl. From April 6 to June 3rd, Milestone will be closing 7th St between South and Columbia St. 7th St will be fenced in with gates at both ends and barricades will be up on both ends of the alleyways. From April 29th to August 15, Milestone will be working on Columbia, just West of 6th St, and continue South to 5th st. Traffic is being shifted to the North lane while work is happening on the South lane. Parking will be unavailable in this area during this construction period. From May 8th to May 26th, there will be a lane restriction on S 24th St between Wallace and Kossuth while a curb and ramp are being replaced. Only one side will be worked on a time, and there will not be any closures to allow for traffic to flow. From May 12 to July 14, the section of S 4th St between the intersections Fountain and Kossuth will be reduced to a single lane for construction. There will be signage to indicate the areas of construction and traffic signals at each end to allow for traffic flow. From May 15 to July 14, Michels will close the Western-most Southbound lane on Sagamore Pkwy from Main St to Teal Rd to allow for materials and equipment to come in and out. On May 19th, there will be a celebration of the National Bike to Work Day in Greater Lafayette. There will be a proclamation reading on the John T Myers Bridge for the day, but this will not affect the roads being open.
