    The annual Boo at the Zoo event at Columbian Park Zoo is upon us once again! This year’s “spooktacular” event will be held October 22, 23 and 24, during select time slots. Even though the world is different right now, Columbian Park Zoo is dedicated to providing children and families with an opportunity to celebrate Halloween in a way that will continue to keep our community safe and healthy. Boo at the Zoo will be BURSTING with not-so-scary decorations and music, as well as fun Halloween enrichment with the animals that you have come to love at the Columbian Park Zoo! Better yet, the Halloween Train Ride through Columbian Park is back! Your kiddos will enjoy a wide variety of hauntingly friendly kids games and activities including a costume contest, pumpkin patch, penguin scavenger hunt, and so much more. Boo at the Zoo proceeds are utilized by the Lafayette Parks Foundation to fund future capital improvements and education programs at the Columbian Park Zoo.

    Join us Sunday, October 31, at McAllister Recreation Center for the inaugural Fall Festival! Put on your favorite Halloween costume and come out for the perfect family-friendly afternoon! This event will feature fall crafts & games, pumpkin decorating, prizes, balloon art, food trucks, & so much more. Better yet, McAllister Recreation Center’s Fall Festival is FREE to attend!
